Digital Microscope Review - JOYALENS
Coldn't actually see the resistor discharge technique but I got the gist, thanks!
To me the dial caliper is more accurate. Like sometimes a digital one will jump back and forth between numbers and that’s not a problem with these. Also no batteries
The holders works like you said in your imagination only
That's Amazing
Excellent tutorial, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
That last tip about the GFCI was great. The safest way to go IF you must introduce isolation is not the cheater plug, but the isolation transformer. Then of course the professional/expensive route is the differential probe.
Hahaha 🤦🏽♂️ Hire a certified electrician kids !!
Really this video is very useful and information and easy to understand and demonstrate , thank you
Glad it was helpful!
how to test the bipolar option with the Fluke ESU through bipolar forceps, can you help
Not yet, I need to get some forceps so that I can show that first.
Are these procedures the same for AMX 4 plus?
Yeah they should be nearly the same - some of the boards are a bit different looking - depending on when the amx4+ was built but overall pretty much the same. Of course it’s always good to check the documentation for the model your using
Can you post the complete FLUKE QA ES III Options Output/vessel sealing / Power distribution test and available models in your facility?
Unfortunately, I am not as familiar with that part of the testing, but I believe you need a handpiece, which I do not have access to. There probably are not to many major changes - if you have a specific question I can try to look in the Bovie training manual to see if I can answer it for you.
What is being checked on a diode is not voltage, but resistance!
OL is also OverLoad
Excellent - thanks for this! There are many situations when an analogue scale is useful. A rapid glance is often all that is needed to read or re-read it. Change is also very clear to see happen. And, and I know I will get some stick for this, but for not super precise repeated identical measurements you can easily write on the dial with a fine pen!
Awesome!!!
Very well done review.
Glad you enjoyed it!
At the risk of being the jerk here, if someone needs this explained to them they shouldn’t be near an oscilliscope or a multimeter. You are accurate and clear, but someone needs to ask if we SHOULD be explaining this to anyone who can do a youtube search.
I am replacing the two capacitors on my subwoofer amp. Both are 80V 6800uf. Can I use the screwdriver method to discharge them?
Yeah you should be fine, may spark a bit but your safe enough
i have an owon vds1022i usb scope, i can probe whatever, its isolated. and if i dont plug my laptop in its double safe. but the bncs are still shorted together. so thats the only worry. my oscilloscope is a multimeter pretty much (ignoring voltage ratings)
and 122V is high ? You can feel the 245V a little, but the 418 already has power, it wakes you up well :o)))
how about usb oscilloscope ?
Ladies and gentlemen, the 1st RUclips Short ever to provide useful information.
Higher voltages like 120v lol
What happens if you test for volts while the meter is set to ohms?
You should be ok - the multimeter will apply a small voltage to test the resistance - but your meter should be fine
I don't understand what all the talk on youtube about this is, surely it's simple, the ground/earth lead on the probe should ALWAYS be connected to EARTH! FULL STOP!?!
hi!! the video that demonstrates EMG was quite useful to me. could you please share the link of the Arduino connect software that you are using
Here is our GitHub page - github.com/HTM-Workshop/DIY-EMG
@@HTMWorkshop thank you for sharing!
Excellent video! Thank you! 😊
Glad it was helpful!
I just got a gardner bender where the probe holders are spaced close enough to check outlets one handed , don't get how it would work with this one
He forgot to mention....if you dont use your hands at all, make sure to connect to wifi first. 😂
How to buy ,your products??
Hi, you can find the book here htm-workshop.com/product/essentials-of-biomedical-engineering-technology-and-healthcare-technology-management/
Nice - but I want to see you measure socket voltage with those holders. (Pro secret - don't tell anyone: they're just holders).
Hi, Distressing ! It's just supports for the fingertips. No material, whatever it is, has this center distance. 😮 😅
Do not take this advice. Although you would likely never be shocked using a quailty meter, using one hand could put you in more danger. Be safe, not stupid.
Brings back memories of my dad teaching me this some 40 years ago
Thanks for your useful information
1 hand in your pocket
Perfect instruction, thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Why would this be needed. Idk anything about electricity
They are used to remove unwanted signals as well as couplers and decouplers
I wouldn't call 120v high voltage. Let's see you test that socket with the probes I the holders too
As a professional machinist and professor of manufacturing for more than 45 years any industry using vernier calipers is out of touch with today's technology, vernier calipers are known as the guessing stick in industry. Digital's are used in Industry 4.0 because it allows for collection of data without pen & paper and limits error, machinist on the shop floor use both dial & digital (not collecting inspection data), but in a metrology lab Digital is always used now days if not you are not ready for Industry 4.0 and yes I know CMM's are better but not all parts need inspection by a CMM.
great thoughts, do you have a recommendations for an industry 4.0 digital caliper that can also be networked?
@@HTMWorkshop Mitutoyo has several models I use and I also use their MeasurLink software for the data collect but the software works with almost all calipers with a digital serial port.
Any tutorial install for Ubuntu ??
You’re still standing on the GROUND
I had never thought about it before, and unless I find a scope at an estate sale it won't be an issue. Are the digital inputs using the same ground?
What the hell
DMM's have a (fuse) for a reason...Just saying. But still a descent video..😂😂 The probe part had me rotfl.. But I 'thinks that's probably why they (allow) for detachment of the ground side. So it blows straight OUT; CUT the connection. 😂😂😂
If 120 A.C. is going to kill you already have heart problems😅
I don't want to erase my files from external drive. How can I do it?
Everything is wrong with this video. Leave the electricity stuff to experts before somebody gets killed.
Gotta say I’ve always had a field piece meter with no holders, didn’t realize I was missing out 😂
